In this 2.5 day workshop, you’ll explore how to create dynamic learning that delivers results consistently. You’ll borrow tools from media artists, engineers and entertainers to complement your design program. In a series of fun, hands-on exercises you’ll discover what makes each learning style tick. You’ll build an inventory of training activities and delivery techniques you can use with any content.

You’ll create your next training design using the 4MAT model. This 8-step framework combines big picture and sequential thinking. We’ll do it the old fashioned way — on paper. And, we’ll set you up with our web-based training design software, 4MATion®. You’ll leave with a deep understanding of what it takes to create transformative learning.

A few thoughts on the program

"The Mastering Training Design Program was an exciting and mind stretching three days. It reinforced what I have learned from my 25 years in the training field, taking me to deeper level of understanding of how good design drives behavior change. The 4MAT model provides an easy-to-use roadmap for incorporating learning styles into training design. It is the best program I have seen for designing learner based training. The Mastering Training Design Program is built upon the 4MAT model, allowing the participant to both learn about good design, and also to experience it."

"Jeanine worked with our entire training team setting the foundational standard for us to work from. The 4MAT methodology is fantastic and has really enhanced our team's effectiveness. What's more, it just makes sense. She's great at stand-up facilitation and has the unique ability to connect on a personal level to each person. I would highly recommend using 4MAT."

mastering training design testimonial

"4MAT is the most effective training design process I’ve ever used. I’ve long been a supporter of active learning and attention to learning styles. When we think of learning styles most of us focus on the aural, visual and tactile kinesthetic modalities we all know about. 4MAT goes way beyond this to bring in whole new dimensions of how we think, how we do and how we know.

The 4MAT structure helps me design learning experiences that engage all kinds of learners in their comfort zones and stretch them into areas they might not otherwise go. My designs have definitely moved to next level as I am more thoughtful than ever in my experience building programs that continually move learners from thinking to experiencing; from reflecting to doing."
